The 3 primary colours of our logo are orange, white and blue, with green as a secondary colour. At the top of the logo is a rising sun in orange. Orange represents the richness of our minerals, as well as the richness in our various cultures and diversity of our nation. The 9 sunbeams represent the 9 provinces of South Africa. At the bottom section of the logo the letters “NP” appears in the colour white, which represents peace among all the people of South Africa. At the centre of the logo, a green banner runs in an upward direction from left to right. This represents the growth of the National Party. The colour green represents the richness in nature and landscapes of our land. The blue section to the top of the banner represents the sky above South Africa, while the blue at the bottom of the banner represents the oceans that meet our coastline. The colour blue represents the trust invested by voters in the National Party. |
